SwitchTOS V1.0 

The ATARI ST getting fit for a long life, and you will learn how easy it is to switch between multiple operating systems.

SwitchTOS is an adapter for switching between 4 operating systems for ATARI ST with 6 TOS ROMs, e.g. motherboard C070523-001 Rev C. Because the circuit consists of only a few standard parts and hobbyists should have a subset in stock, we do not offer a kit for the time being, but the PCB and individual parts.

The special feature of SwitchTOS is that the switching takes place with the reset button and therefore no switching elements are required on the housing. A permanent setting for a specific TOS is also possible with two jumpers.The 4 new TOS versions are stored in 256kB blocks one after the other in the flash (even if only 192kB are used each) and switched forward by one block with each keystroke, strictly speaking in the order 1-2-3-0 after cold start. A possible assignment would be e.g. TOS1.02 - TOS1.04 - EmuTOS - KaosTOS.

ACSI2SD is an ACSI harddisk (Megafile 30/60/44, SH204, SH205) emulator, initially available as a kit only.

The old hard drive with mechanical elements is replaced by a removable MicroSD card as medium. Because of very low power consumption ACSI2SD can be powered by your ATARI (housing must be opened) or by means of al 5V power supply with a standard 5,5/2,1mm dc plug (not included). You can also feed the 5V via Mini-USB into ACSI2SD Kit Proc (suitable power supply in the shop) and via Micro-USB into ACSI2SD Kit Mod.

SCSI2SD is a SCSI hard disk emulator, initially available as a kit only.

The old hard drive with mechanical elements is replaced by a removable MicroSD card as medium. If you replace the few electrolytic capacitors in a Powerbook with long-lasting ceramic or tantalum capacitors, the Powerbook will be a valuable reminder of the 90s. And if you miss the sound of a hard drive: SCSI2SD can produce the original sound as well.

  1. You can order using the webshop. If you don't like it, we accept also orders by email or letter, but they must include the preferred shipment method. New: The minimum order value is EUR 15.00

  2. We manually issue an order confirmation which contains our banking details like BIC/IBAN. New: PayPal is also possible

  3. You pay mentioning the order number. If you select PayPal as your payment method, the order shipping address and the PayPal shipping address must match. 

  4. We deliver: in Germany by Hermes or DHL or Deutsche Post (insured), other EU countries per your request. Often we manage to ship same day as your payment is received. 

If you choose a shipment method which turns out to be impossible by dimensions or weight, we will correct it in the order confirmation.
You can also pick up your order at the company location in Karlsruhe, Germany. Prior agreement is required.

The articles presented in the webshop are offered to commercial and private customers in the European Community. We offer mainly special purpose and discontinued semiconductors in small quantities, therefore they are suited rather for repair than for production. Our focus is on Audio, TV and RF.

Please note that the items offered can be in new or used condition. This condition is marked clearly in the article's details, some articles are available in both new and used condition.

Many trading companies are used to offering parts which are physically not in their stock. Databases are cumulated, exchanged, and can't be kept up to date.

You will notice it when you actually refer to such offers: the dubious trader can't confirm that parts are in stock. Instead of quoting a price, he will ask for your target price.

We are fed up with such business practice:

the parts offered in the webshop are physically in our stock, in most cases backed up by date code and packaging, and tagged with a price. Consequently, we don't answer questions if the parts offered are "still" available. We do not enter price negotiations below 50 EUR value, below that value refer only to the list price. Written offers are not issued below 50 EUR value.
